Mrs. Juliet Nakiryowa Mukiibi

Chairperson

Mrs. Juliet Nakiryowa Mukiibi, the Chairperson of the Board of Governors at Nsawo RCC Medical Centre, brings a wealth of experience in organizational transformation and human resources. With a background in Human Resource Management from both national and international institutions, including her roles at the Uganda National Roads Authority and Centenary Bank, she has overseen HR functions for thousands of employees. As an active member of professional associations and a certified practitioner in balanced scorecard methodology, she demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Her consultancy, Mind Global Consults, showcases her expertise in setting up HR systems, processes, and policies, aiding various organizations in enhancing their operational efficiency. Juliet also dedicates her time to volunteer work at Nsawo RCC, contributing to community upliftment initiatives. Her visionary approach, coupled with her dedication to organizational effectiveness, embodies her leadership at Nsawo RCC Medical Centre.

Dr. Rebecca Namatovu -Dawa

Vice chairperson

Dr. Rebecca Namatovu-Dawa, the Vice Chairperson of Nsawo RCC Medical Centre, brings a wealth of academic expertise as an Assistant Professor at the Copenhagen Business School, having previously held a senior lecturer position at Makerere University Business School in Uganda. Her contributions extend to serving on the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Board, demonstrating a profound dedication to researching women entrepreneurship, resource mobilization, and strategies for fostering entrepreneurial growth in small businesses. Presently residing in Copenhagen, Denmark, her extensive knowledge and experience greatly enrich the endeavors of Nsawo RCC Medical Centre.

Mr. Michael Mpiima

Treasurer

Mr. Michael Mpiima, a devoted educator, previously served as the principal at a local secondary boarding school, fostering the growth and development of students, including those from the Hurley family. With over a decade of experience in education, Shannon Hurley deeply valued Michael's mentorship. Recently joining Legacy Christian Academy, Michael extended his dedication beyond family connections, focusing on empowering students in character development and career guidance. As a Rotarian since 2007 with RC Muyenga, Michael not only shapes young minds academically but also actively contributes to the community through Rotary service. His unwavering commitment to education and character building establishes him as a respected mentor and advocate for the success of the younger generation.

Mrs. Sophie Nanteza

Secretary

Mrs. Sophie Nanteza, Secretary on the Board of Governors at Nsawo CC Medical Centre, boasts over 15 years of extensive experience as an entrepreneurship and innovation expert, collaborating with startups, SMEs, and corporates across various Sub-Saharan African countries. Specializing in growth planning, she excels in crafting context-specific strategies and execution plans, alongside expertise in process development, reengineering, and organizational performance management. Sophie's impactful contributions span international consultancy roles, including positions with the UN-International Trade Center, Bloom Bank Africa business accelerator, Iungo Capital - a Netherlands-based impact investment fund, and Luvent Consulting GmbH - a Berlin-based economic development consultancy. Notably, she served on the Investment Committee of the NSSF Hi-innovator Program, enhancing SMEs' growth capacity. Her academic background includes an MBA in finance, a Postgraduate diploma in Management, and Business Analysis Certification.

Introducing Hakim Luyima, a seasoned User Experience and User Interface Designer with a two-year tenure as a dedicated Rotaractor and member of the Board of Governors at Nsawo CC Medical Centre. Beyond his expertise in creating inclusive digital platforms, Hakim's passion lies in utilizing design as a catalyst for community cohesion. His diverse background seamlessly blends with a steadfast commitment to empower and unite diverse African communities. Hakim serves as a bridge-builder in the design realm, ensuring that technology enhances communal experiences and fosters meaningful connections.

Mrs. Deborah Kulubya Luyima

Chief Executive Officer(CEO)

Mrs. Deborah Kulubya Luyima, a dedicated member of the Rotary Club of Muyenga, Uganda, has served as the International Services Director, spearheading impactful projects since 2012. Born and raised in Kampala, she has been happily married to Hood, the charter President of the Rotary Club of Hoods District 9213, for two decades, and together, they've nurtured four children. Deborah's passion for community development is evident through her leadership in various initiatives, including the establishment of a Pediatric Clinic, spearheading the Adopt-A-Village program, contributing to the Nsawo/SSAKU school computer lab, and supporting the development of the Nsawo RCC Medical Center. Her commitment extends beyond boundaries, advocating for causes like the "Save a Girl" project, distributing 4500 reusable sanitary pads to girls in rural areas, showcasing her role as a dedicated social entrepreneur committed to making a lasting impact. Additionally, she has been an active Rotarian since 2005, contributing significantly within District 9214.

Dr. David Serukka Sentongo

Technical Manager

Dr. David Serukka, a seasoned Ugandan physician, brings extensive expertise in public health garnered over many years. Notably appointed as the Director of Public Health and Environment at the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) by President Museveni in 2019, Dr. Serukka holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Leeds (1994) and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from Makerere University in Uganda (1988). His leadership extends to serving as the Executive Director for Protecting Families Against HIV/AIDS (PREFA) since November 2004, where he steers strategic program development, management, coordination, and control in alignment with national policies on HIV/AIDS prevention, particularly focusing on Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT). Dr. Serukka's wealth of experience also encompasses his dedicated service at the International Hospital Kampala.

Mr. Herbert Muyinga

Finance and Adminstration

Mr. Herbert Muyinga, an esteemed member of the Rotary Club of Muyenga (RCM) for over two decades, boasts a rich history of service within the Rotary community. Holding various pivotal roles at both club and district levels, including his term as RCM Club President in 1998/99, he has displayed unwavering dedication to Rotary-related positions. Currently, Herbert serves as a member and advisor to RCM's International Services Directorate. His involvement spans facilitation and implementation of diverse projects, from conceptualization to securing funding, notably including the impactful 'Nsawo Adopt a Village' initiative in Uganda, Group Study Exchanges, and numerous others. Notably, he stands as a significant donor to The Rotary Foundation (TRF). A Makerere University economics graduate, Herbert specialized in international procurement and finance, leveraging this expertise as the country manager for M/s PEJA Africa, a Netherlands-based procurement firm (www.peja.nl). His steadfast commitment to service remains resolute, reflecting his enduring dedication and leadership.

Mrs. Juliet Kisakye

Program Manager

Juliet Kisakye, the Program Manager at Nsawo RCC Medical Centre, is an esteemed Rotarian with over 15 years of experience as a Community Development Manager in Luwero District. Her passion for community service resonates through skillful orchestration of impactful programs that uplift and empower the local community. Demonstrating unwavering dedication and leadership, she ensures that the Rotary values of service above self are ingrained in every project, leaving a profound and lasting impact on the lives of those she serves.

Mr. Sekajugo Marvin Benjamin

Public Health Specialist

Mr. Marvin Benjamin Sekajugo is a licensed Public Health officer in the Republic of Uganda with over five years of dedicated service in the field. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the esteemed International Health Sciences University (2018), where his research project focused on Factors influencing Health Seeking Behavior Among Elderly Men Aged 60 Years and Above in Makindye Ssabagabo, Wakiso District, Uganda. Additionally, he holds a Clinical Practice (GCP) Certificate. Mr. Sekajugo spearheaded the establishment and management of In His Care Medical clinic in Mukuuba landing site, Bwerenga (2020-2023), overseeing clinic resources, providing health education, monitoring community health needs, and conducting impactful outreach programs to promote community health. His professional experience includes serving as the Administration Manager at Mission to the World Uganda (2019 - 2020), where he effectively liaised with communities on behalf of MTW Uganda. Furthermore, under the Ministry of Health Uganda, he served as a Switch Validator for Kumi District (2016), overseeing the successful transition from TOPV to BOPV polio vaccines in the entire cold chain system of Kumi District. He is deeply passionate about assisting and uplifting underprivileged individuals.

Mr. Muyanja Marvin, a comprehensive nurse, brings his compassionate care to the community since 2020. His hands-on approach and commitment to health make a positive impact on the well-being of those he serves.

Mr. Mutaki Enoka

Laboratory Technician

Mr. Mutaki Enoka, a seasoned laboratory assistant since 2012, transitioned to become a comprehensive nurse in 2009. With a wealth of experience, Enoka contributes significantly to community health, blending expertise in diagnostics with comprehensive care.

Mrs. Sendegeya Rehema Nagawa

Midwife Nurse

Mrs. Nagawa Rehema, holding a Bachelor's degree in Nursing/Midwifery, brings an impressive 30 years of experience to the field. Her extensive knowledge and commitment to community health make her a valuable asset, contributing to the well-being of individualsĀ andĀ families.

Mrs. Katooko Justine

Midwife Nurse

Mrs. Katooko Jastine, a dedicated midwife, has been actively serving in the field since 2016. Her commitment to maternal health extends to community care, ensuring the well-being of mothers and infants through her expertise.

Mrs. Rachael Kiconco

Nurse/ Diabetes Nurse

Mrs. Kiconco Racheal, an enrolled midwife since 2021, channels her skills into community-focused maternal care. Her recent involvement reflects a dedication to ensuring safe and healthy childbirth experiences for women in the community.
